A 2U dual-socket platform that pairs full-fat compute with 12 to 24 hot-swap storage bays. The default node type for private cloud, virtualization and hyperconverged fabrics in the GCC.
Twelve or twenty-four 3.5"/2.5" hot-swap bays support hybrid SAS/SATA + NVMe topologies. Ideal for hyperconverged fabrics that need CPU and capacity in the same chassis.
Eight Gen5 slots, dual OCP 3.0 mezzanines, and a signal-integrity path validated for 400GbE + PCIe 5.0 concurrently — not on paper, on the scope.
Redundant SAS4 expanders and NVMe switch fabric mean a failed drive path is not a failed node. Standard on every R2.
Ships with T18 Rack Manager templates for OpenStack, Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi 8, and OpenShift 4.
Configurable options are marked red. Contact engineering for special-order variants.
